Ultimately, however, I think that the globalization that kicked into high gear with NAFTA will need to downshift. We’re not going to get rid of it entirely, but after the rioters cut the throats of the idiots who say, “Globalization is unstoppable,” there will be a reduction in globalized trade. If nothing else, perhaps rich countries will stop importing riot-ready malcontents.
