Empiricism, lawyers, and perverse incentives


The discussion at:

is good, but it leaves out the influence of Anglo-American lawsuit mania.

I am reminded of that anarchist book – possibly written by one of Benjamin Tucker’s followers by Beard, now unfashionable among academics – that criticizes the Founders of the USA as economically motivated.
