All the hackers leak all the scandals. Some of them are true.

WikiLeaks Releases ‘AfterMidnight’ and ‘Assassin’ CIA Malware Leaks

Wikileaks is probably staffed by technically competent people.  Wikileaks is reporting on people who probably like to call themselves hackers:

US President Donald Trump Thursday signed an executive order to establish a Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity.

The Commission, to be chaired by Vice President Mike Pence, will review alleged voter fraud and voter suppression in the US election system.

Hospitals across the UK have been hit by what appears to be a major, nationwide cyber-attack, resulting in the loss of phonelines and computers, with many hospitals going “dark” and some diverting all but emergency patients elsewhere. At some hospitals patients are being told not to come to A&E with all non-urgent operations cancelled, the BBC reports.

The UK National Health Service said: “We’re aware that a number of trusts that have reported potential issues to the CareCERT team. We believe it to be ransomware.”

The hospital attack appears to be WannaCry:

In mid-April, an arsenal of powerful software tools apparently designed by the NSA to infect and control Windows computers was leaked by an entity known only as the “Shadow Brokers.” Not even a whole month later, the hypothetical threat that criminals would use the tools against the general public has become real, and tens of thousands of computers worldwide are now crippled by an unknown party demanding ransom.

The malware worm taking over the computers goes by the names “WannaCry” or “Wanna Decryptor.”

I am pretty sure Barrett Brown is a hacker, and the USA has him under the boot.

There are quite a few hackers in Israel, and I think some of them are making the ISIS videos:

Everything from AnonHQ goes into the “hacker” category because it’s Anon:

Disturbing images from inside the home of an American man suspected of exploiting Filipino children and operating a child cybersex webcam service to pedophiles have emerged.

The raid of David Timothy Deakin’s house in the Philippines is thought to be one of the largest ever seizures of illicit digital content in the country.

anon56 (who is widely assumed to be a hacker) wrote:

Australian woman Fiona Barnett showed a ton of courage in going public at a Sydney press conference in October 2015 and naming names.

Fiona, a former victim of ritual abuse and part of an international VIP pedophile ring, not only exposed the existence of the pedophilia network and its international child trafficking ring, but actually named 3 former Australian Prime Ministers and 1 former US President [Richard Nixon] as perpetrators.

I don’t necessarily believe or disbelieve Fiona Barnett. The claim that Richard Nixon committed such an obvious crime seems hard to believe. I could believe Richard Nixon sleeping with a 17-year-old who looked 18. Barnett claims she was a small child at the time of the encounter. I have trouble believing Nixon would cross that line.

Security researchers have discovered that a feature installed in a number of HP laptops is recording all of the keystrokes that the laptop users make.

In capturing everything users press on their keyboards the software is recording sensitive information, and by saving that information in an easily accessible file the researchers claim that it is potentially exposing users’ passwords to attackers.

According to the Swiss cybersecurity group behind the research, Modzero, the feature wasn’t designed to spy on users – but it was implemented in such a way that it records everything users type.
