That title won’t make much sense without a musical accompaniment.
“Pop Muzik” is a 1979 song by M, a project by English musician Robin Scott, and his wife at the time, Brigit Novik. It’s not enough that this blog reports the news. This blog must associate the news with meme-worthy bits of cultural flotsam and jetsam.
To elaborate on the blogpost title, everyone has been hearing about the gasoline pipeline that got shut down with ransomware, and everyone has been hearing about the rockets being fired in Israel. So for purposes of this post, I’m assuming that you are bored of those stories already and want something new.

CDC: As many people have died from Covid-19 vaccines as ALL vaccines in last 20 years COMBINED
(CONSERVATIVE PLAYBOOK) – There have been nearly as many deaths from complications following inoculation with the so-called Covid-19 “vaccines” as there have been for all previous vaccines total since Jan. 1, 2001. In fact, the data are five days old so the gap, which was at four on May 3, has almost certainly been bridged.
According to the CDC website: “Over 245 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from Dec. 14, 2020, through May 3, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 4,178 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA physicians review each case report of death as soon as notified and CDC requests medical records to further assess reports.”
The website went on to boldly proclaim that a “review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records has not established a causal link to COVID-19 vaccines.” This is important medical editorializing so as not to scare people. The CDC has a vested interest in getting as many people vaccinated as possible, so even when burying the important data about deaths at the bottom of a page intended to assuage concerns over these experimental drugs, they did so with every intention of making people take it.
Ten Things We Learned from the Covid Coup
“1. Our political system is hopelessly corrupt. Virtually all
politicians are hopelessly corrupt. No political party can be trusted. They all can be, and have been, bought.”
2. Democracy is a sham. It has been a sham for a very long time. There will never be any real democracy when money and power amount to the same thing.
3. The system will stop at nothing to hold on to its power and, if possible, increase its levels of control and exploitation. It has no scruples. No lie is too outrageous, no hypocrisy too nauseating, no human sacrifice too great.
4. So-called radical movements are usually nothing of the sort. From whatever direction they claim to attack the system, they are just pretending to do so and serve to channel discontent in directions which are harmless to the power clique and even useful to its agendas.
5. Any “dissident” voice you have ever heard of through corporate media is probably a fake. The system does not hand out free publicity to its actual enemies.
6. Most people in our society are cowards. They will jettison all the fine values and principles which they have been loudly boasting about all their lives merely to avoid the slightest chance of public criticism, inconvenience or even minor financial loss.
7. The mainstream media is nothing but a propaganda machine for the system and those journalists who work for it have sold their sorry souls, placing their (often minimal) writing skills entirely at the disposition of Power.
8. Police are not servants of the public but servants of a powerful and extremely wealthy minority which seeks to control and exploit the public for its own narrow and greedy interests.
9. Scientists cannot be trusted. They will use the hypnotic power of their white coats and authoritative status for the benefit of whoever funds their work and lifestyle. He who pays the piper calls the tune.
10. Progress is a misleading illusion. The “progress” of increasing automization and industrialization does not go hand in hand with a progress in the quality of human life, but in fact will “progressively” reduce it to the point of complete extinction.
Sheriff Goes Ballistic After Arizona Recounters Demand Access To County Passwords
The private company conducting the GOP 2020 election recount in Arizona is now demanding access to government internet routers and passwords, which the Maricopa County sheriff blasted as “mind-numbingly reckless and irresponsible” and a threat to law enforcement.
Sheriff Paul Penzone (D) said in a statement that providing router information to a shadowy private company led by a conspiracy-embracing CEO would compromise sensitive and highly classified law enforcement data and equipment.
“The Senate Republican Caucus’ audit of the Maricopa County votes from last November’s election has no stopping point,” Penzone said. “Now, its most recent demands jeopardize the entire mission of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.”
n addition, citizens’ private information, including voting histories, addresses, phone numbers and Social Security numbers, could fall into the hands of Cyber Ninjas, the company hired by the GOP-led Senate to conduct the recount.
In response to Senate subpoenas last week, county attorney Allister Adel explained in a letter that turning over the requested routers or “virtual images” of routers not only poses a significant security risk to the sheriff’s office, it also “puts sensitive, confidential data belonging to Maricopa County’s citizens — including Social Security numbers and protected health information — at risk as well,” reported the Arizona Republic.
Access to the routers “might compromise county and federal law enforcement efforts and put the lives of law enforcement personnel at risk,” Adel added.
The recount of 2020 races Democrats won in Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix, was launched last month by Cyber Ninjas, owned by conspiracy theorist Doug Logan, who retweeted messages months ago predicting that any Arizona audit would inevitably uncover hundreds of thousands of uncounted votes for Donald Trump.
Logan’s company is examining ballots using ultraviolet light in a crackpot hunt for “bamboo” particles that allegedly would suggest the ballots were planted by China.
One of the recounters is a former local lawmaker who was at the Capitol riot. Former state Rep. Anthony Kern’s name is also on the ballots he’s “auditing,” as both a candidate for reelection (he lost) and as an elector for Trump.
The county has already turned over all 2.1 million general election ballots, voter information and election equipment to the Cyber Ninjas in response to state Senate subpoenas.
Last week, the state Senate decided to delay the personal canvassing of voters, in which Cyber Ninjas operatives grilled residents about their voting. Republicans in the Senate backed off after receiving a complaint from the U.S. Department of Justice that such action could amount to illegal voter intimidation and civil rights violations.
Arizona Senate President Karen Fann told the Justice Department that if that portion of the project is restarted, canvassers “will not carry a firearm or other weapons” when they knock on citizens’ doors.
Pamela Karlan, principal deputy assistant attorney general in the DOJ’s
Civil Rights Division, also expressed concern in her letter to Fann that ballots were not secure, since they’re “no longer under the ultimate control of elections officials, are not being adequately safeguarded by contractors, and are at risk of damage or loss.”
Victims of FBI seizure are missing items from their safe deposit boxes for no known reason: report
In March, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reportedly shut down U.S. Private Vaults, a Beverly Hills facility full of 800+ safety deposit boxes and seized all its contents. Now, the FBI is currently facing 5 lawsuits pending in federal court.
Federal prosecutors allege in their filings that “the majority of the box-holders are criminals who used USPV’s anonymity to hide their ill-gotten wealth.” But even they admit that “some” of the company’s customers were actually “honest citizens.”
Yet those honest citizens have had no luck getting their valuables back. About six weeks have passed and according to a report from Reason, these victims have received no communication from the FBI.
12 Cases of Nov. 3 Election Fraud Still Being Investigated by Kansas Sheriff’s Office
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas confirmed last week it is still investigating claims of voter fraud from the Nov. 3 election.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, Abigail Christian, told the Topeka Capital-Journal that 12 cases are being investigated, but she could not release more details about the investigation. The statement came after state Rep. Vic Miller, a Democrat, had asked Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay to look into the 12 cases of alleged election fraud, noting that the alleged fraud cases involved addresses that were listed at two UPS stores and two businesses in Topeka.
Andrew Howell, the Shawnee County election commissioner, said that he doesn’t recall anyone contacting him or the election office about election fraud but said his office is trying to “clean up the list.” He added that using a UPS address or business address does not necessarily mean there was election fraud involved, according to the Journal.
“There are situations that do occur where people are allowed to use unusual addresses,” Howell said. “It doesn’t on its face alone prove anything.”
The Epoch Times has contacted the sheriff’s office for comment.
In Pennsylvania recently, several people have been charged or will be charged with election fraud stemming from the Nov. 3 election, including two women in Bucks County who both allegedly cast ballots on behalf of their deceased mothers.
District Attorney Matthew Weintraub told news outlets that the incidents are isolated and said there was no evidence of “widespread or systematic election fraud here in Bucks County.”
Danielle Elaine Dooner, 56, of Buckingham, and Melissa Ann Fisher, 51, of Quakertown, will be charged in relation to the alleged mail-in ballot violations. They each face violations of provisions relating to absentee and mail-in ballots, a misdemeanor of the third degree, officials said.
And two weeks ago, a Delaware County man identified as 70-year-old Bruce Bartman pleaded guilty and admitted he “made a stupid mistake” when he cast a ballot for his deceased mother.
After the November election, a multitude of GOP state legislatures have passed laws to strengthen the rules around absentee and mail-in ballots. That includes Florida’s legislature, which last week passed a bill that provides more regulations for ballot drop boxes as well as more identification requirements for voters who request a mail-in ballot, while Texas’s state House passed a similar bill on May 7.
Immediately after the Florida bill was signed into law, Democrat lawyers and other groups filed several lawsuits challenging the measure as unconstitutional.
D.C. jail treatment of Capitol riot defendants draws bipartisan outrage
“It was a well-thought-out strategic plan” to transfer inmates to D.C., where they can be “mic’d in a cage,” lawyer says.
A short drive from the U.S. Capitol, 1,500 inmates are stuck in their jail cells 22 hours a day. Until last month it was 23, and they were also barred from going outside.
A smaller group of inmates may have it even worse: those awaiting trial for alleged crimes in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. They’ve been placed in “restrictive housing,” a maximum-security designation.
The plight of nearby inmates has received surprisingly little attention on Capitol Hill for the better part of a year, since the District of Columbia Department of Corrections issued its “medical stay-in-place” policies for COVID-19 mitigation.
That only changed in late April, and it flipped the partisan script. Rep. James Comer, ranking Republican on the House Oversight Committee, demanded better treatment for the inmate population at large, while Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Dick Durbin spoke up for inmates accused of insurrection to keep Donald Trump in office.
The issue could complicate D.C.’s bid for statehood. “D.C.’s house is not in order, and the solution is not to grant it even more authority through statehood,” Comer said April 19 in response to a Washington Post report that characterized the jail’s COVID-19 order as “mass solitary confinement.”
Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) also cited the Post report in an April 22 floor speech against D.C. statehood. Alleging the city has been “essentially torturing inmates” for more than a year, Higgins said: “That is ultimately a violation of the 8th Amendment … Is this what we can expect from a D.C. state?”
Comer requested but has not received a briefing with Mayor Muriel Bowser about jail conditions, prompting him to demand Oversight Chair Carolyn Maloney hold an emergency hearing on “these gross abuses that are happening right at our doorstep.”
The Jan. 6 defendants are being held in pretrial detention on charges ranging from knowingly entering or remaining in restricted grounds without authority to conspiracy, assault and obstruction of an official proceeding.
Asked about Jan. 6 defendants specifically, Comer’s office provided Just the News a statement Friday night. “Reports that January 6 defendants, who have been charged but not yet convicted of a crime, [are] receiving even harsher treatment is equally appalling,” he said.
DOJ’s Top National Security Lawyer Slammed Investigation Into Government Wrongdoing in Surveillance of Trump Aide
Though an investigation found that the U.S. government abused the surveillance system to target a Trump aide, the Department of Justice’s latest hire slammed a probe into the origins of that wrongdoing as “partisan silliness.”
In a now-deleted tweet, Susan Hennessey, who was appointed on Monday as general counsel of the Justice Department’s national security division, criticized special counsel John Durham’s attempts to determine whether U.S. intelligence agencies improperly surveilled Donald Trump’s presidential campaign when trying to identify Russian interference in the 2016 election. The national security division handles espionage and foreign-agent investigations.
Durham’s inquiry has largely tracked a Justice Department inspector general’s investigation into false claims the FBI made to obtain warrants to surveil Carter Page, a former Trump campaign aide.
The inspector general said the FBI made more than a dozen “significant” errors and omissions in the surveillance applications. The report was not as critical of Justice Department officials, though attorneys in the national security division did approve of the error-filled warrant applications.
The Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment about whether Hennessey will play any role in the Durham probe.
Durham, the former U.S. attorney for Connecticut, was picked in April 2019 by then-attorney general William Barr to lead a Justice Department investigation into the Russia probe. Durham was designated to serve as special counsel over the investigation on Oct. 19, 2020.
Prior to joining the Justice Department, Hennessey was a senior fellow in national security at the Brookings Institution and the executive editor of the Lawfare blog. She has criticized Durham in the past, saying after he was appointed special counsel that he “hasn’t come up with anything” of substance during his investigation.
“I guess this kind of partisan silliness has become characteristic of Barr’s legacy, but unclear to me why Durham would want to go along with it,” Hennessey wrote in a now-deleted tweet.
Hennessey, who served as a lawyer at the National Security Agency during the Obama administration, cast further doubt on Durham’s investigation in an interview with The Guardian last year.
“The Durham investigation presents the opportunity for bad actors to make a lot of mischief, but the lack of clarity makes it difficult for observers to criticise,” she told the newspaper.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said during his January confirmation hearing that he would allow Durham to continue his work. But he also stopped short of saying that he would release a public report of Durham’s investigation once it ends.
Durham has secured only one conviction during his investigation. Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty last year to altering an email regarding former Carter Page’s relationship with the CIA.
‘Civil war is brewing in France and you know it’: French military launches another salvo at Macron with new open letter
A group of active French military personnel has published a new open letter to the country’s president Emmanuel Macron, warning him of a “civil war” brewing in the country after all the “concessions” he’s made to Islamism.
The letter, published in the conservative Valeurs Actuelles magazine late on Sunday, strikes a similar tone to the message published by the same outlet last month. Unlike the previous one, which was signed by 25 retired generals and active-duty soldiers, the new letter is anonymous and is open for signing by the general public. As of noon on Monday, it had attracted over 100,000 signatures.
The authors of the letter have described themselves as active-duty French soldiers, belonging to the younger generation of the military that saw actual combat over the past years.
“We are what the newspapers have called ‘the fire generation.’ Men and women, active soldiers, of all armies and of all ranks, of all opinions, we all love our country. These are our only claims to fame. And while we cannot, by law, express ourselves with our face uncovered, it is equally impossible for us to stay silent,” the letter reads.
The letter accuses President Macron of making “concessions” to Islamism on French soil, while the country’s military has been spilling its blood to fight against it in “Afghanistan, Mali, the Central African Republic or elsewhere.”
The authors have also indicated that at least some of them have taken part in the domestic Operation Sentinelle, launched after the devastating 2015 Charlie Hebdo terrorist attacks, and witnessed certain ethno-religious communities in France completely detached from the rest of the country.
For such communities “France means nothing but an object of sarcasm, contempt or even hatred,” the letter reads.
Like the previous letter, this new one warns the republic’s authorities of an impending “civil war,” with the very existence of France being at stake. “Once again, civil war is brewing in France and you know it perfectly well,” the letter reads.
We are not talking about extending your mandates or conquering others. We are talking about the survival of our country, the survival of your country.
The authors of the letter have also voiced strong support towards the signees of the first one and harshly criticized the government’s response to it.
“To encourage the army’s senior officers to take a stand and expose themselves, before angrily sanctioning them as soon as they write anything other than battle reports, one must be quite perverse,” the letter reads.
Cowardice, deceit, perversion: this is not our vision of the hierarchy. On the contrary, the army is, par excellence, the place where we speak the truth because we commit our lives.
The first letter, published on April 21 – on the 60th anniversary of a failed coup d’état against General Charles de Gaulle over his support in favor of independence for Algeria – caused an uproar among France’s top officials. Prime Minister Jean Castex branded the message “an initiative against all of our republican principles, of honor and the duty of the army,” while the military vowed to punish the active-duty signees.

5 Migrant Girls, Under Age 6, Abandoned Overnight on Texas Bank of Rio Grande
A Texas rancher living north of Eagle Pass discovered five unaccompanied migrant children abandoned by smugglers on their farmland Saturday night. The five small girls, ranging in ages from one to six years old, were led across the Rio Grande River and abandoned the evening before. The human smugglers left them with no food, water, or any adults to care for them throughout the night.
The rancher’s wife shot a video when they found the children on Mothers Day Sunday morning. The frustrated woman expressed their displeasure for the dangers the children faced throughout the night and the seriousness of their situation. Temperatures reached 103 degrees on Sunday and the children appeared to be exhausted and dehydrated.
The ranchers’ employee and his spouse helped care for and comfort the abandoned children while they awaited the arrival of Border Patrol agents.
The frustration was easily heard as the rancher’s wife expressed her feelings in a Facebook post.
“Five little girls were crossed yesterday afternoon and were dumped with no food, water, nothing,” Kate Coleman Hobbs wrote. “My husband found them this morning while on rounds. The adults in the video are our farm manager and his wife who brought much-needed water and food.”
Business Groups Lobby Against Trump-Era Rule Blocking Chinese Tech
Major trade groups have asked the Commerce Department to nix a Trump-era rule continued by President Joe Biden that enables the government to block Chinese technology transactions.
Business groups and industry-leading technology companies have lined up in opposition of the rule, which was introduced on Jan. 19 and went into effect March 22, calling it overly broad and arguing it harms U.S. consumer interests, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. The rule implements provisions of an executive order signed by former President Donald Trump in May 2019, giving the Commerce Department far-reaching power to block Chinese technology transactions deemed to pose a national security threat to the U.S.
The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) asked Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo not to enforce the rule while the administration reviewed the best path forward, according to an April 28 letter reviewed by the WSJ.
“[The administration’s] actions should be more tailored,” the TIA said in a separate April letter to Raimondo. “In the long term, the nation is best served by pragmatic approaches that are designed to address specific risks.”
The TIA, Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association, Consumer Technology Association, National Association of Broadcasters, Wireless Infrastructure Association and other top groups signed onto the letter.
National Security, Military Vets Demand CIA Director Resigns Over Chinese Communist Party Links, Lies to U.S. Senate.
Washington, D.C. — The Committee on the Present Danger China – a national security group constituted of national security and military veteran – is demanding the resignation of Joe Biden’s recently confirmed CIA chief William Burns following outright lies to the United States Senate over Burns’s links to the Chinese Communist Party.
The letter follows a National Pulse investigation highlighting how Burns – who previously served as the President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace – worked with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influence groups including the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) during his tenure.
The National Pulse recently revealed how, despite the former think tank director insisting he cut ties with the controversial influence group in his Senate confirmation hearings, the relationship continued through 2021.
“In our view, these relationships should have precluded an individual from holding even a basic security clearance, let alone serving in so sensitive a position as the leader of America’s preeminent intelligence organization. We learned recently, moreover, that Mr. Burns seriously misrepresented in sworn testimony to the United States Senate the nature and timing of his dealings with such CCP-associated persons and organizations,” the Committee on the Present Danger China (CPDC) asserts.
The CPDC – whose letter includes over 20 high-level signatories – also highlights how Burns allowed CCP members tied to United Front efforts, which seek to “co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition” to the regime’s authority, onto the organization’s Board of Trustees:
Mr. Burns’ testimony is also belied by the fact that in 2016 he welcomed Zhang Yichen to the Carnegie Endowment’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Zhang is the CEO of CITIC Capital Holdings, a 3 subsidiary of CITIC Group, a state-owned investment enterprise. He has given over a million dollars to the Endowment in recent years. He is also tied to not one, but two, Chinese influence operations: the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Center for China and Globalization. The website of a Chinese embassy depicts the CPPCC as a “United Front organization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China” that is “actively engaged in exchanges with foreign countries for the purpose of strengthening the friendship with people in foreign countries.” The Center for China and Globalization is “a Beijing-based think tank also linked to the communist apparatus.”
“Mr. Burn’s record contradicts his testimony about being worried about Chinese influence operations, shows he ignored the risks of partnering with them and bespeaks both a lack of awareness about Chinese tradecraft and judgment that could be serious national security risks at the CIA,” the letter notes before calling for his resignation:
For all these reasons, we urge you to ask immediately for the resignation of William Burns as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
The unearthing of Burns’s CCP ties follows The National Pulse highlighting comparably compromised members of the Biden White House, including cabinet secretaries, intelligence officials, advisers from various agencies, and even the President’s son.
Former police chief: If we lose the rule of law, we are going to lose America and we’re just about there
The following editorial was written by a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.
Time was our country was a nation of laws. Look no further than the Watergate scandal which brought down the Nixon administration. Back then, you could count on the media to act as watchdogs for the American people, counted on to keep the political class in line. Sadly, that no longer appears to be the case.
Instead now we see the mainstream media acting as a public relations arm for the Democratic Party, totally disinterested in anything which doesn’t fit a leftist political agenda. The Washington Post, the paper that brought down Nixon, is one of the biggest offenders in looking the other way.
And what of the once-proud FBI? Over the past five years, we have seen that agency, which always enjoyed a stellar reputation, get reduced to nothing but a political hit squad for the Democratic Party.
Look no further than the hit job done by the FBI on former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn if you don’t think the FBI has become a political enforcement arm for Democrats.
Add to that the involvement of the FBI in trying to take down former President Trump before he was even elected, and that agency has lost any and all credibility it had. Sadly, there are a lot of outstanding, dedicated agents that work for that agency. However, the agency as a whole, primarily in leadership has become a pathetic joke.
On January 6, a group of people entered the U.S. Capitol building, clearly a terrible idea. While some got carried away and committed criminal acts, an overwhelming majority did not. Yet, the FBI has made it it’s life mission to get anybody and everybody who can be identified as being at the US Capitol on January 6, whether they committed a crime or not.
To date, over 800 persons have been arrested or taken into custody. A number have been locked up, some in solitary confinement, for months without being charged.
Conversely, cities across the country, Portland, Oregon in particular have been under siege for almost one year. The people responsible for this siege are mostly members of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, two anarchist groups that both have the goal of overthrowing the United States Government.
You know, a REAL insurrection.
Yet the FBI has turned a blind eye to the thousands of people who have participated in these riots, some of which have included attacking federal property, including the federal courthouse in Portland.
“How Bush’s grandfather helped Hitler’s rise to power
Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today’s president”
President Bush’s grandfather was a director of a bank seized by the federal government because of its ties to a German industrialist who helped bankroll Adolf Hitler’s rise to power, government documents show.
Prescott Bush was one of seven directors of Union Banking Corp., a New York investment bank owned by a bank controlled by the Thyssen family, according to recently declassified National Archives documents reviewed by the Associated Press.
Operation Zapata, United Fruit, CIA, GHW Bush, Rockefeller, Dulles, etc.:
” … The CIA was using companies like Zapata to stage and supply secret missions attacking Fidel Castro’s Cuban government in advance of the Bay of Pigs invasion. The CIA’s codename for that invasion was “Operation Zapata.” In 1981, all Securities and Exchange Commission filings for Zapata Off-Shore between 1960 and 1966 were destroyed. In other words, the year Bush became vice president, important records detailing his years at his drilling company disappeared. In 1969, Zapata bought the UNITED FRUIT Company of Boston, another company with strong CIA connections … ”
HW Bush’s CIA and the Clintons have been smuggling guns and drugs continually since the days of Iran-Contra… Obama continued the family business…
The biggest scandal in American history…
The Bush-Clinton empire and criminal succession.
“…The Clintons and Bushes have been criminal partners for more than 30 years. They and their colleagues have dominated the American government, the military-intelligence apparatus, the judicial system, the financial markets, and the banks. Their friends dominate the corporate media and Hollywood—the shapers of The Big Lie.”
Clintons, Contras and Cocaine:
“…Arkansas was a crucial link in the contra war against Nicaragua being masterminded from Washington. One scheme for maintaining a cover-up for Oliver North’s network was, it appears, played out in the Governor’s mansion occupied by Bill Clinton.”
