Doomsday averted (in Kazakhstan)

The CIS (i.e. the post-Soviet Russian world) depends on Kazakhstan not just for rail transportation to China, but also for uranium.

So when the Russians send troops to stabilize Kazakhstan against rebels probably led by the Cocaine Import Army, we can reasonably say that Russia averted doomsday.
