Whistleblowers

Whistleblowers are a lamplighters who join an organization and subsequently report official wrongdoing.

In general, whistleblowers sincerely believe in the avowed goals of the organization, at least when they join. A lamplighter who doubts the organization from the outset, and infiltrates with the intention of exposing wrongdoing, is more like a muckraker than a whistleblower.
