Many male leaders get some amount of sex. Some of them, like Genghis Khan, get lots of sex. Some of them, like Nikola Tesla, neither seek nor receive sex.
Most people understand that the issue of male sexual activity is not identical to the issue of male accomplishment.
Every manosphere writer that I know about admits that there are various douchebag males who have lots of sex with various skanky females.
Some men will say that a man should display douchebag aggressiveness in order to get multiple skanky women to volunteer for sex. Some men will say that a monogamous married man should act aggressive in the presence of his wife in order to keep the spark of romance alive in the boring circumstances of marriage.
Uncabob and I believe that promiscuous male douchebags should not be referred to as “alphas.” My first objection is that the “alpha” notion isn’t even very useful for descriptions of wolf behavior, and it’s even less useful for humans. My second objection is that cads should be suppressed, not lionized.

I generally disagree with Free Northerner on most theological and exegetical issues, but at least he has made some effort to apply a rational understanding of Christian doctrine to his notion of “alpha.” In my opinion, his notion of “alpha” is incoherent, but I give the man props for writing stuff like this:
To anyone coming from a Christian background, the manosphere and the alpha/beta distinction seem to be fairly unchristian. This is partly because of the feminization of modern churchianity, but also because the manosphere does advocate some fairly unchristian things. In particular, the game blogs tend to focus heavily on promiscuous sex, something sinful to a traditional Christian, and this attitude tends to permeate through much of the Manosphere. (There are some great exceptions, such as Athol and Dalrock).
The advice on being an alpha is often seen as recommendations to be an asshole and/or sinner (I know that game is more and/or different from that, depending on whom you read, but that’s a way it can come across).

Jim is a strange character. I think he approves of “alpha” douchebaggery to some limited extent, but he spends most of his time writing about more important matters.

Beale is a strange fellow, in that he claims to be Christian and then preaches ideas that most Christians would disavow. I’m not going to spend a lot of time on him because I think he’s not worth my time.
Dalrock is a Christian of sorts, but he seems to think that Christian men should fake douchebag masculinity.
GBFM is unreadable, but I will paraphrase his recent criticism of Dalrock:
GBFM notes that so long as Dalrock encourages Christian men to fake sociopathy and hypersexual behavior, Dalrock won’t be able to pull society out of its slump. GBFM advocates reforming Western society’s laws on the basis of the Bible and the Greek classics.
GBFM has a very obnoxious writing style and thus I don’t bother spending much time on his words. Example:

I will note in passing that a lot of pro-douchebaggery writers are unreadably bad writers and obnoxious self-promoters. Thus I have an informal list of manosphere sites I will not bother to visit. Return of Kings, Roosh, and Matt Forney are at the top of that list. If they have any allegedly good arguments, someone else can submit them in the comments; I’m not going to give them the attention.
